ZenFit started as a single studio with a crazy idea — that serious fitness and mindful movement belong under the same roof.
In 2016, Jake Rivera and Mia Chen were training partners with a shared frustration: traditional gyms felt soulless, and yoga studios felt disconnected from real athletic goals. So they rented a garage in South Austin, knocked out a wall, and built something new.
ZenFit was born on the premise that the human body doesn't compartmentalize — why should your training? The result was a fusion approach: HIIT and strength for physical capacity, yoga and breathwork for recovery and mental clarity.
Eight years later, we're 500+ members strong, with 15 certified trainers and three studios. But we still cap every class at 15, still know most members by name, and still believe the best workout leaves you feeling better — not just broken.
